Our Client is seeking an experienced and motivated HDR Solicitor to join a growing litigation team specialising in Housing Disrepair claims. This is a full-time, office-based position in the Greater Manchester area, offering the opportunity to manage a varied caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently from instruction through to resolution

The Opportunity:

• Manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from inception to conclusion
• Provide clear, practical legal advice and maintain excellent client care throughout the claims process
• Investigate claims by gathering, reviewing and analysing evidence
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, witness statements and correspondence to a high standard
• Conduct negotiations with defendants and third parties to achieve favourable settlements
• Liaise with clients, experts, counsel and other stakeholders to ensure cases progress effectively
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives and deliver excellent client outcomes
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation, case law and industry developments

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor status with a current practising certificate
• Demonstrable experience handling Housing Disrepair claim [3+ years]
• Strong litigation and case management skill
• Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation abilitie
• A thorough understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant housing legislatio
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill
• The ability to manage a busy caseload independently while contributing positively within a team environmen
• Experience using legal case management system
• A professional, organised and client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
